The #Steelers traded a fifth-round pick in 2020 to the #Seahawks for TE Nick Vannett, source said. Needed help with Vance McDonald banged up and paid the price to get it. Vannett has 48 career catches and 4 TDs.

Vannett has caught four passes for 38 yards in three games for Seattle this season.
The Seahawks originally selected Vannett out of Ohio State in the third round of the 2016 draft. He has 48 catches for 463 yards with four touchdowns in 42 career appearances.
The Steelers are playing without quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, who suffered a season-ending arm injury that required surgery earlier this month. He is expected to return in 2020.
Pittsburgh also landed safety Minkah Fitzpatrick from the Dolphins in mid-September in exchange for a package centered around a 2020 first-round pick.
The Steelers hold a 0-3 record and will host the Bengals on Monday.
