Fans are questioning the purpose of the preseason after Thursday’s sloppy NFL Kickoff game between the Packers and the Bears.
What was originally billed as a thrilling showdown between two rivals, ended with only one touchdown being scored in Green Bay’s 10-3 win over Chicago.
Starters for both teams saw limited to no playing time in preseason games, leaving fans wondering why there’s a preseason at all.
Maybe the preseason would have helped? 🤷♂️

Rodgers should’ve played some in the preseason. His timing/ rhythm has been pretty much off all nite.

Aint nobody tell me preseason is 5 weeks long

This is by no means a hot-take, but this game feels like the reason starters should play more (or at all) in preseason games.

Neither QB played in the preseason and it showed. Worst opening night game in recent memory.

That game was unacceptable. Professional athletes with preseason games and lay an egg offensively, for both teams, is embarrassing.

Wow, a 10-3 snoozer when 99% of starters didn’t play at all in the preseason? Shocker.

Not the game I was expecting 10-3 was this a baseball matchup maybe QB should play more preseason games fans don’t want to pay high dollars for a low scoring game

This might be the result of Matt Nagy refusing to play this starters in the Preseason. This offense is running in quicksand.

Relax guys it’s only preseason.

Thats what teams get when they dont play any starters in preseason. Why even have one.
