Carnage Signs With UTA | Billboard

The move reunites the bass music producer with his longtime agent Steve Gordon.

Coming after a string of bombastic summer releases and one of the coolest videos of the year, bass producer and Heavyweight Records founder Carnage is making another major move. Today (September 20), it was announced that Carnage has signed to United Talent Agency for representation.

The move marks Carnage’s reunion with Steve Gordon, UTA’s co-head of Electronic Music and Carnage’s first-ever agent and longtime friend. Carnage will be represented in North and South America, Australia and Asia by Gordon and UTA music agent Ben Hogan

“Steve and Ben are like my brothers, and I could not be happier to work with people as passionate for dance music as I am,” Carnage tells Billboard Dance. “With my return to UTA, everything has come full circle for me, and we are all very excited for this next chapter.”

“Steve’s guidance was integral to my success, and we are both thrilled to pick up right where we left off,” the artist born Diamanté Anthony Blackmon continues in a press release. “I have realized the importance of working with people who share my passion for dance music, and I could not be more excited to be back with Steve and Ben.”

“I am extremely happy to be back working with Carnage,” Gordon tells Billboard Dance. “He is such a unique artist who has always pushed me to think outside of the box, and I look forward to continuing to build his brand together.”

Carnage was represented by Gordon for the duration of his career, until the two parted ways in January of 2018 and Carnage moved to Paradigm. In April of 2018, Circle Talent Agency, the dance music agency co-owned by Gordon, was acquired by UTA. Gordon’s current client roster also includes Kaskade, Excision, Illenium, Pendulum, Knife Party, Sublime with Rome, San Holo and more.
