The surviving members of the Allman Brothers will be celebrating the band’s 50th anniversary with a show at Madison Square Garden in New York City on March 10.
The concert will reunite drummer Jaimoe Johanson, guitarists Warren Haynes and Derek Trucks, bassist Oteil Burbridge and percussionist Marc Quinones under the name The Brothers. The performance will be the first since Gregg Allman died following a battle with liver cancer and drummer Butch Trucks took his own life. Founding guitarist Dickey Betts will not be at the show, having had a falling out with the band years ago.
According to an announcement on the band’s Twitter page, ticket presales begin on Jan. 7, before becoming available to the general public on Jan. 10 via Ticketmaster. See below.
